Secret Garden Ep 1 Eng Sub6/17/2021
Early on it was evident with their questionable casting choices for the lead roles and from there the drama continued to spiral downhill with a lack of attention to details; the omission of so many relevant scenes and shrinkage of the plot and subplots.Major plot points of the story became anti-climatic or glazed over and the humor is almost non-existent as a result of these omissions. Many of the important nonverbal and subtle nuance scene moments were removed from this version as well, which means they really did not understand their relevance or they just deemed them irrelevant.
Character development for the leads never really happens because Ananda Everingham was miscast as the male lead and the lack of attention paid to the details of his characters anal arrogant OCD tendencies and nature; home and wardrobe made the situation even worse. Baifern Pimchanok was not properly trained and conditioned to play a convincing stunt woman, which was very evident and noticeable immediately. Otherwise, she and the remaining cast do manage to pull off acceptable performances with Chin Chinawut Indracusin as Ray (Thanats cousin and Pop Star) and Chaoey Suthada Jungjaiphar as Mook (Veenas best friend and roommate) giving solid standout performances in their roles. The other real miscast was Vajrasevee Pimpatchara as Adia (Rays Ex-girlfriend), she lacked the sage and sophistication to pull off the role. The original Secret Gardens OST is meticulous as part of a near-perfect drama and a tough act to follow; they could not possibly put together a decent OST because they clearly did not understand the symbiotic relationship between the music, the scenes, and characters, which is due in part to their disastrous misunderstandings of the original drama. Secret Garden Ep 1 Eng Sub Series Is RemadeWhen a great drama series is remade and misinterpreted to the point where its very essence is written out of the script and lost, it becomes painful to watch. I suppose it works out nicely that theyre both immature in the same ways. Id personally like to say farewell to omo-queen Secretary Kim. Yoon Sang-hyun, I was never on your bus before, but Im totally on it now. She reels, spitting out that this is nothing but a momentary feelingits something that happens once in everyones life. She says with bitterness shaking in her voice that they are always the ones to grow tired and leave first, while we are always the ones left behind. Hm. So shes lumping Ra-im in with her husband, for a myriad of reasons including class. Well that explains a lot, but did it really require us to wait twenty episodes for that explanation Is anyone going to be sympathetic for you after all that shrill shouting, for all those episodes. He tells Mom that someday hell walk her down the aisle with Moms blessing. She replies that shell roll over in her grave before that happens, and Joo-won takes his leave with a heavy sigh. She decides to confront him, and hands him a coffee, saying he must be tired following her around in this cold weather. Hahaha. Awesome. Ra-im tells her that shes not going to find the answer in medicine. She adds that the time she visited Ji-hyun wasnt her; it was Joo-won. He tells Joo-won that this is normally the kind of conversation theyd have over drinks, but hes already seen Joo-wons drinking habits. Heh. She wonders if theyre all eating together, but he doesnt answer. He takes her inside, asking pointedly that if she wants to run away, its her last chance. Are we He just smiles, asking if theres anything she wants to do in her last ten minutes before becoming a married woman. He puts out his hand, as he says that there isnt going to be any flowers, or candles, or even a ringbut will she still become his wife. Joo-won peers over as Ra-im is writing, complaining that shes writing awfully slowly, when he was totally fast. Heh. They sign with matching heart-signatures, the way Ra-im had signed Joo-wons name when she was in his body. Oska tells Seul that hes learned something by watching Joo-won and Ra-im: that all memories, even bad ones, can be wiped clean with time and love. Oska: Were here to do all this. Pointing to the decorations.) Joo-won: You were doing OTHER stuff Ha. He turns to Seul: If we had met when we were 21 Ra-im and Oska scowl, and they all laugh, as Joo-won kicks them out. She tells him to freeze, and then climbs on top of him for a kiss. Finally, the Ra-im of yesteryear, pre-wrist-grabs and buckets of tears. As they laze around and read (Is it sick that this is the thing Im most jealous ofthat these people have time to laze around and READ) Joo-won shows her the rewritten ending to The Little Mermaid.
